SOME HANDY TIPS TO KEEP IN MIND.

Always use a pencil when marking and measuring

When measuring if you have a left height of 2055 and a right height of 2050,
always use the smaller size when ordering.

When measuring width always supply exact sizes of top and bottom sizes, this will ensure that tracks are cut to the exact sizes.

We always recommend that when measuring height and width, measure the middle of the opening, as in some cases timber frames can have bows or sags in the middle that may alter the measuring process.

 VERY IMPORTANT
MEASURE YOUR OVERALL OPENING
NOT EXISTING DOORS OR TRACK SIZES

(AS SHOWN IN SIDE PHOTO)

Method:

Step 1:

Use your measuring tape, measure from one side of the jamb 1000mm in and make a mark. (for example 1000mm)

Step 2:

Now measure from the other side and record the difference to the 1000mm mark. (for example 773mm)

Step 3:

Now add both measurements together to get an exact
width measurement. (for example 1000 + 773 = 1773mm)

Step 4:

Repeat this process for bottom width and heights also.

Step 5:

Record all of the measurements from the top and bottom widths, and left and right-hand sides of the heights.

Step 6:

This will now give you the complete overall sizes of your wardrobe opening. (for example 2050mm high and 1773mm wide).

This opening size would require a 2100 x 1800mm set of robe doors.
